First Solo

This was a picture from my first solo. I’ve been flying for months leading up to my first solo. To be honest I was nervous but the day was good for pattern work. Prior to my solo my instructor and I did 5 full stop taxi backs. That got me ready. When my instructor jumped out, she said, keeping doing the same thing, you’ll be fine. Remember you can go around and remember the principles of reverse command. Also, “Just don’t die.” She closed the door behind her and I was on my way.
